- Work Description:
- I am offering one custom tuft rug no bigger than 30"x30" which will be rolled up and shipped in a mailing tube to you. I will buy all the necessary yarn, but I am a beginner so nothing complex like gradient coloring or small text/calligraphy—I suggest no more than 10 different yarn colors. I can do Marvel character logos (such as the Stony logo I did), simple mascots (like Jeff the Landshark or Alligator Loki), one or two animated characters (like Steve and Tony from Avengers Assemble or a mutant from X-Men '97), or possibly a text logo (like MARVEL or the X-MEN logo).
I would appreciate it if you would reach out beforehand with what you have in mind, so I can let you know if it's feasible or not.
Once the auction's over, I'll reach out so we can discuss the image that will be tufted. We'll nail down the colors and dimensions; then I'll transfer the basic sketch outline to the loom and get all the needed supplies. I'm estimating I'll start tufting at the beginning of the new year and I'll send progress pics. Once tufting is done, matting will be glued to the bottom to keep the rug together and once dried, it can be shipped out!
I currently live in the US; if the bidder also resides in the US, then I'll cover standard shipping. I'll ship expedited if the bidder covers the cost. I'll also cover shipping for international bidders as long as it is a country the USPS, FedEx, or UPS can ship to—whichever option has insurance. I will not be able to cover nor predict any fees/tariffs imposed by the person who inspired the creation of MTH. ;_; I do travel to Europe every year, and I can try to coordinate meeting up or shipping from another European country when vacationing.
