- Work Description:
- I am offering a handbound fanfic (stand alone, series, or author anthology) of your choice up to 90k words. An author anthology is a collection of fics written by a single author compiled together into one bind. This will be a hardcover bind with custom created cover art, chapter headers, and potential in-chapter embellishments - with the typeset and cover complexity depending on the final bid amount.
I’ll be typesetting, printing, and hand binding the fic. If the bid reaches over $200, I would be willing to make 2 books total for the winner. Regardless, I will also be offering to provide a bind for the author of the fic (if it's not you).
*DISCLAIMER*: Unless you are the author of the fic/series/anthology you would like me to bind, or the fic has been orphaned, the author must provide permission to bind their fics. This permission is needed either via email or a DM/group text chat, so that I can confirm consent. If the fic contains art that you would like included in the bind, the artist permission must also be obtained in the same manner. This is non-negotiable.
I would want to do some creative collaboration to settle on a theme for both the typeset and the cover design. I would request a mood board based off the fic, with color swatches, potential cover ideas, even photos of existing books you like the look of - any inspiration vibe you would like to reference would be appreciated.
It’ll take a few months for me to create both the typeset and the books. As I am based in the United States, I’m happy to ship anywhere within the lower 48 states of the US, however the international shopping cost for items may be slightly increased. I would be happy to pay for the equivalent of shipping across the US (Roughly 15$ USD max, based on my last book shipment) - but I would ask the bidder to pay the difference in shipping over that.
