- Work Description:
- I am offering a Ren Faire style bodice using Marvel character collage fabric or fabric in your favorite Marvel character's theme colors or a color palette inspired by the character. In addition to all characters in the tagged fandoms, I'm able to accommodate any character the bidder wants.
The bodice will be made with cotton fabric and includes metal boning, hammered in grommets, bias tape, and laces. This is a shorter bodice style that cuts across the bustline and sits above the waist. Here is what the finished bodice looks like.
If bids reach $90 or above, I will also make an under bust corset with an optional back panel that adds 4" to the final size. The corset includes metal boning, grommets, and laces and can be worn under the Ren Faire bodice, as shown in this photo.
If bids reach $175 or above, I will include a matching silk habutai chemise undershirt (with or without ruffled cuffs) with elastic in the neck and wrists. Here is an example.

For full disclosure, there may be some imperfections in the finished product(s). I am a passionate hobbyist sewer since 2006 and use a sewing machine that only sews straight and zigzag stitches. Most everything I make has been for my personal enjoyment. I will be working from preexisting patterns that are offered in 10 sizes. The measurements listed next to each size are for the finished garment. For best fit, it's recommended that you subtract 2" from your bust to determine your size. Not all measurements listed below may be needed. Since the bodice has a center panel placed under the laces on the front, the bodice can be worn with a gap between the laces, so it's better to pick a smaller size than a larger one. Please take your body measurements carefully!
Reach out for ask any questions about getting your measurements. Unfortunately I can't alter the patterns, so please be aware that I may not be able to accommodate all body sizes. First number is Bust, the Second is Under Bust, the Third is Waist, and the Fourth is Hip. The only measurements needed for the Ren Faire bodice is Bust and Waist. Under bust and hip is included if the bidder reaches the stretch bid for the under bust corset. Measurements are in inches.
