- This auction is for a paperback binding of a fic or anthology. Please see pictures for examples.
You must have written permission from all fic authors — I will not be making the requests myself.
I will do formatting and light proofreading before I print the book. (proofreading is only possible for English text works. I am happy to make books of fics in other languages, but I won’t be able to proofread for typos.)
Book Details:
Minimum word count = 20,000*
Maximum word count = 80,000
A wordcount of 20-50,000 will be an A6 size book (small); wordcount of 50-80,000 will be an A5 size book (large).
*if you would like a LARGE PRINT version of something less than 20,000 words, I may be able to make that work. please DM me before bidding to discuss.
Minimum bid will get you one book for yourself and one book for the original author (if they would like one). [note: my offer of creating a book for the author only applies if this is a single-author fic or anthology, or if all authors are part of a podbid (see below)]
Podbids:
Podbids are welcome. For each multiple of the minimum bid, I will make an additional book for the bidding group up to a maximum of four (4). [So a winning bid of $100 will result in 4 books for your group + 1 book for the original author.]
Further Notes:
The above listed pairings are suggestions as they are some of my favorites. If you have a rarepair or polyship that’s not listed, please reach out and ask about it — I can probably make it work! I would also love to bind any gen fics!
For solo winners: I am happy to cover shipping to the US, Canada, and Mexico. For other destinations I may ask you to cover half of shipping costs (package will be coming from the US).
For podbid group winners: I will cover shipping for all books heading to US destinations as well one author's copy regardless of destination. For additional books heading to non-US destinations, I will ask you to cover half of shipping costs (package(s) will be coming from the US).
All crafting will take place in a home with a cat and a dog, therefore there may be some amount of allergens on final items.
