PRICING/FIC LENGTH:
A base bid of $15 gets a fic length of 1000 words. Each $5 bid increases the word count by 300 words. (IE: $25=1600 words, $50=3100 words). The maximum amount I will write is 10,000 words ($165). Exact word length may vary depending on what works best for the pacing of the piece, but I will discuss that with the auction winner during the writing process, and will not lowball further than a 50 word margin.
If you bid a larger amount, whether for the maximum word count or somewhere in between, you may choose to split the resulting fic length up into more than one shorter fic, or keep it as one long piece. (ex: a $50 bid could be one 3.1k fic, or two separate 1.5k fics with different relationships or themes). This is an option for pod bids if different members would like different stories.
No matter what, please take into consideration if the story concept you have in mind realistically fits the fic length you are paying for. You can look on my Ao3 account for examples of stories at all different lengths to get a feel for what I'm able to do with different story sizes. You can also contact me with your idea before bidding to see where I ballpark it! More detailed stories with more events and interactions will require a larger word count.
CONTENT, RELATIONSHIPS, AND CROSSOVERS:
I am mostly interested in writing for the mainline comics versions of the Moon Knight cast, specifically in the continuity and characterization of the current Jed MacKay run. However, I am familiar with and have a history writing for the MCU versions of the characters, and can include some elements of that continuity if desired. I am not interested in writing fully MCU focused work, so if you have a story idea involving the MCU depictions you would like to get, please contact me via my listed Tumblr account or email beforehand to see if it's something I feel I can write.
For the relationships listed, I am also open to any platonic pairings of the slash options! (ex: platonic Marc and Jeff, platonic House of Shadows and Moon Knight system). I am also open to specific duos out of of the poly ships, and any canon dynamics between the Midnight Mission crew members of the current MacKay run. (ex: platonic Reese & Marc, canon compliant Greer Grant Nelson/Marc Spector). The listed relationships/characters are what I have the most interest in creating for though, so again, if you have a specific idea outside of what I've listed, feel free to reach out!
For the Charles/Logan listing, those are the only characters I'm interested in writing for as a relationship focus in X-men Evolution. But side dynamics between each character and their students, colleagues, or enemies is welcome as a part of the story. I am not interested in writing any Erik/Charles work, besides in the form of a past relationship.
For crossovers outside of the Marvel universe, I am generally familiar with the Justice League and Batman circles of DC comics, as well as the Mortal Kombat franchise. I'm happy to do a crossover story for either of those franchises featuring the comics Moon Knight cast, but again, please reach out to me beforehand if you are interested in this kind of story so I can confirm your idea aligns with what I can write.
SCHEDULE OF COMPLETION:
Once auctions have closed and you have paid for your piece, I will connect with you and we can start working out the details of your story. Completion times will vary based on final fic length, level of detail, and events in my personal life. I have a day job outside of fic writing that means I'm less available at certain points in the week. Once we have the story details hashed out, I will let you know an estimate of when I will be able to start your piece, and will communicate with you throughout the process if there are any delays on my end.
