- Work Description:
- I am offering to bind a fic (or series) of your choice which meets the relationship and subject matter I've detailed in this listing, up to 150,000 words total. I bind in hardcover bradel style, and the bind for this auction will be a one-of-a-kind book created specifically for the story of your choosing, from the typeset to the cover, including custom font choices, artwork (with permission from the artist or I can choose appropriate art from free vector imaging or you may purchase/supply art to include), colors, and paper. I will cover all costs of materials used.
My favorite part of binding fic is individualizing the bind for the story, but if you choose a story I have not read, I may rely on your thoughts/opinions to choose appropriate materials.
I am willing to pay for shipping within the continental United States. If you would like to bid on a bind and live outside that region, please contact me beforehand so I can estimate shipping and we can decide who/how much will be paid towards that cost.
If you win this bind and are willing to pay for the extra materials and shipping, I am willing to make a second copy of the bind for the author if it is not you. IF YOU BID AS A POD - I am willing to make up to FOUR copies of one bind, but again, the extra cost of materials and shipping must be paid for by the members of the group. PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE DOING THIS.
THE AUTHOR OF THE FIC YOU CHOOSE MUST GIVE PERMISSION FOR ME TO BIND THE FIC. (This may include a blanket permission statement on their AO3/Tumblr/website, but if they do not have this blanket permission, you will be responsible for asking the author and providing me with proof of permission.) Orphaned fics are okay, and you would not need permission for me to bind those. Please have a backup fic in mind in case the author does not allow me to bind the fic, or reach out to them prior to placing a bid.
