- I am offering digital colored artwork of up to two characters. You can choose between a Portrait, half-body, or full-body shot; backgrounds will likely be abstract and impressionistic, but if there's an environmental detail that's important to the image, I'll include it.
If you donate at least $20, you unlock the option for me to draw you a two page (about ten panels) comic story with two characters of your choice. This option is more collaborative in nature and would require you to provide a more detailed description of what you want to do.
I'm generally happy to do any requests regarding any X-Men characters, but please ask if there's a non-mutant character you're interested in. I'm pretty ship agnostic as well.
I've worked from very general prompts ("I want a picture of this character doing whatever") and done illustrations based on scenes from fanfic. My comfort zone is friendship and romance dynamics between characters, but I have done some action and angst illustrations as well, and I am willing to try something new. It is more helpful if you have something in mind when we start talking, but I'm flexible.
TImeline:
My typical workflow takes one to two days, depending on the demands of my day job. Because it involves storytelling and more complex composition, there is a much longer timeline for completion for the comic story. If I'm unable to start work immediately once we've agreed on a concept, I'll let you know and try to give a timeframe for when I can start.
I typically will contact you first to get ideas, then work on one or two sketches once I have a direction. I'll always check in with you before I start on inks and colors.
