- Marvel Hand Mending 101:
A Zoom course that will send you a base of a needle, small sewing scissors, two washable markers, plus extras according to Level, and teach you to DIY Marvel style! (NOTE: Non-USA residents are required to provide their own materials.) Up to six separate individual kits will be provided for podbids. Max of 12 students for the course. The course will take place at a time and day mutually agreed upon, after March 1, 2027 and before September 15, 2027.
Level 1 (1 hour) - $100:
- sew on Marvel buttons & repair holes from pulled-through buttons (comes with two (2!) buttons - choose from Captain America, Spider Man, or another if I can find it, & a handful of generic buttons)
- close split seams (comes with two (2!) thread sets - choose from Tony (red/gold), Steve (blue/white), Bucky (silver/white), Thor (gold/black), Natasha (red/black), or Clint (purple/black))
Level 2 (all of Level 1 and an additional hour+) - $150:
- patch jeans/jackets (comes with two (2!) Marvel patches, a thimble, & a packet of generic jean patches - choose from SHIELD, Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, or Hawkeye)
- do a simple hem fix for regular trousers or jeans (comes with two (2!) thread sets - choose from Tony (red/gold), Steve (blue/white), Bucky (silver/white), Thor (gold/black), Natasha (red/black), or Clint (purple/black))
Level 3 (all of Level 1 & Level 2 and an additional hour+): choose ONE of the following two options - $200:
1) We will take apart an over-sized t-shirt and put it back together as a mini-dress with your favorite MCU character on the front. Comes with one (1) HTV iron-on in the MCU character's logo. (Good for children, or as a tunic top for grownups.)
2) We will take a dress shirt and add Marvel flair: color-coded buttons, a discreet color-coded embroidery on the collar tip or patch pocket, and a small, simple decorative embroidery on the cuff. (Comes with one (1) color set (6 buttons). Choose from Tony (red/gold), Steve (blue/white), Bucky (silver/white), Thor (gold/black), Natasha (red/black), or Clint (purple/black))
Level 4 (all of Level 1, 2, & 3 (one option from level 3), and an additional hour+) - $250:
We will take two worn-out graphic MCU tees or other fabric items, and I will teach you how to turn them into a pillow! (Prefer to use your own tees? No problem)
