- Work Description:
- I am offering Simplified/Traditional Chinese to English translations.
Since this is a translation, I can totally work fandom/universe/character blind, so anything and everything not listed in the relationships tab is welcome as long as it doesn’t fall into my DNWs. I also reserve the right to refuse a request, but you can check me with me via discord to see if I’m willing to translate something before betting.
I will translate a minimum of 5k words of source text per offering, incrementing 1k for every $10 after the starting bid up to a maximum of 10k. I will do both text and comic translations, as well as translations of multiple works, as long as the cumulative word count is within the offered limit. The word limit refers to the source text, not the translated version. I will not provide typesetting for comic translations.
Please specify whether you'd like the translation to be more readable or more accurate. Entirely readable texts would sacrifice some loyalty to the text in order to localise the tone into English, while entirely accurate texts would retain phrases/proverbs that would sound clunky/confusing in English, with footnotes explaining their meaning.
As I am less familiar with Marvel, I might need some help from you for any fandom-specific terminology. Since I am a student, the translation will take some time.
