- Work Description:
- I will beta up to 50k words, be that one fic of 50k, or multiple fics that total up to 50k.
I am happy to beta works from Gen to Explicit. Please see my DNWs above. If your work is Explicit, and contains kink, please contact me in case I have left some out of the DNWs, but I’m generally fine with most of the common ones. Sexual elements can include any combo of sexualities and genders including trans and NB characters, but I do not have the expertise to do a sensitivity check for non-cis characters or aro/ace characters.
I am fine with Dark fics, Rape/Non-Con elements and Domestic Violence elements. I prefer a happy ending, and adore fluff, but can sometimes be persuaded to look at sad endings. Again, reach out.
I may be open to more relationships than the ones listed (e.g. X-men, Defenders, Fantastic Four) and I’m happy with rare pairs. Please reach out to check.
I can provide general SPAG/flow/plotholes/tense assistance (how many hands are where?), but can also specialise in British elements (language/slang/idioms/geography) and also European Medieval history (England and Western Europe especially), so if you want help on clothing styles (by period/status), food, leisure and past-times for your medieval au or fantasy au, I can info-dump for hours. I also have a pre-teen kid so could also help with some developmental things in a kid fic.
Dollars bid equals the number of K words beta’d up to the maximum of 50k. e.g.:
$22 bid gets you 22k words
$37 gets you 37k words
but $66 would still only get you 50k.
The faster you get me the draft the sooner you get it back. A 50k fic could take me a few weeks to beta, so please bear that in mind.
