Exceptions to /Any ships: mentor/mentee or adult/child romantic or sexual relationships, villain/hero romantic or sexual relationships such as Thanos/Tony or Obadiah/Tony (I am happy with Doom/Tony, Loki/Tony and other anti-hero/morally grey characters or pseudo/pretend villains)
While I don’t mind sex being part of your fic, I’m not the person to go to for advice on writing it.

- I am offering to beta read up to 50K words. This can be for multiple works that altogether add up to 50K, and so can work for a podbid if you like 🙂
This auction is for line and copyediting rather than helping you develop story arcs and hit plot beats: I am great at SPaG, internal continuity (actions, dialogue, sentence flow, etc.), “does this make sense” and “is this having the effect I want it to” checks. By request I can also leave some cheer-reading/live reaction comments and overall feedback. Happy to work with either British or American spelling, and I am used to both Google docs or Word. Let me know what kind of feedback you're looking for and I'll do my best to provide it; I generally leave comments and suggestions within the document itself and then it's your choice to use/change whatever you like!

Being frank, it’s been a while since I’ve watched or read most Marvel canons and my familiarity with them differs. I have listed some specific universes that I’m most familiar with, and I am willing to read/watch something for context depending on length of material provided it’s easily accessible (please note I don’t have a Marvel Unlimited account). Not bothered by spoilers, and I can copyedit fandom-blind!
Of the Marvel TV shows, I have seen Agatha All Along, Agent Carter, Jessica Jones, What If…?, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk; the first seasons of Luke Cage, Runaways, Defenders, Agents of SHIELD, Moon Knight and Loki; and a few random episodes of IM:AA and EMH. I’ve read bits of Marvel comics over the years including Avengers, Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel, Young Avengers, Spidergwen, Squirrel Girl, Champions, GotG, Daredevil, Ultimates and Spider-Man, but nothing super new and nothing super old.
My turnaround time would depend on the length of the fic I’ve been asked to beta, whether you would like me to do multiple passes of the fic in question, and other commitments. If you’d like me to beta 50K words with a specific deadline between Nov 2024 - Jan 2025, I would appreciate you letting me know before you bid. You can also bid on this auction for fic(s) that you haven’t written yet and keep me in reserve!
