- Work Description:
- I'm offering 5k words of podfic per $15, up to around 50k words for $150, which can be split among multiple stories. If the auction goes above that, at my discretion I will add some variety of production flourishes like royalty-free sound effects or musical transitions.
You must have permission from the author(s). If you have a story in mind but are unable to get permission by the end of 2022, we'll have to find something else.
If the winner is an author requesting your own fic, I will include a full recording of my initial cold-read. This can result in especially entertaining bloopers with crack or smut, but either way you will get to hear my live reactions reading your story for the first time.
I'm more than willing to read for the big ships or famous fics, but I do particularly encourage rarepairs, and authors and fics that have not been podficced before. Let's spread some audio love!
Speaking of love, I am very comfortable reading mature and explicit fics.
American English is the only language I am entirely comfortable with in audio, but I can approximate some accents other than my natural generic-Midwest-newscaster. I can pronounce French, Japanese and German well enough to handle some short snippets; and I have people I can ask for help with Spanish, Mandarin, Hebrew or Russian phrases but I can't promise to be great at it.
Important note: some of my listed DNW are more flexible for podfic. Please reach out if you have particular darkfic or harder kinks in mind and I'll determine if it's something I'm good with doing for this project.
